Richard Eckels
Richard has a passion for antiques and the Colorado Gold Rush; he is a Colorado Native and modern day prospector. Richard is a forth generation oil and gas man and an accomplished Denver businessman, running AAA metric Supply for 25 years. With Richards enjoyment of antiquing as well as his business knowledge, together with Heather's desire to carry on the family business, they started Cannonball Creek Antiques and Appraisals specializing in items related to western history.
Heather comes from a long line of art dealers and appraisers who have been involved in the fine art and antique buying and selling business for many generations on two continents. The Boydell family specialized in engravings and fine art since the late 1700s in London, England. The family business came to New York in the early 1900s when John Boydell Nicholson, Heather's grandfather opened the John Nicholson Gallery of Art. Heather's father, Peter John Nicholson was an accomplished art dealer and appraiser who carried on that business when he moved to Denver from New York in 1970. Peter also started Connoisseur Appraisers in the early 1980s.
